I am me. A 6’7 353lbs athletic out going creative smart kid, Who knows what he wants in life and will get it if it’s the last thing I do. A mandala is a representation of who you are and what you want people to know about you. My mandala represents what I am at this point and time in my life. It has a picture of me with my sister (family), a music note, Chicago, the world in my hands, me as a baby, me graduating, my neighborhood, and my lord.
My mandala tells a story all within its self. The music symbol represents what music means to me. I love all types of music, I’m in the choir, I sing, and music brings me in a place that nothing else can. Its my way of escaping my everyday world and going to my peaceful place that keeps me sane. Music is such a big part of me because its in my everyday life and I love it beyond all things.
The picture of the city of Chicago at night represents my home. My city that I was born and raised in. I love the windy city with my entire heart, even though its not the safest place in the world. Its still my home. No matter where I go ill always have the “chi-town” in me. The picture of me and my sister represents my family and how much I love her and them.
The picture of me playing football represents my true love. Football isn’t who I am, but it is apart of me. I love the game because it taught me to be a man and so many other things I will need to survive in this world. The picture of the offensive line is representing my love for my fellow brothers on the line because we go to war everyday on the line. And I trust them with my life.
The picture of me with my gown and cap on represents me graduating and going on to new places because I am a senior and will be heading off to college very soon. The picture of the building is my childhood neighborhood. I grew up there and it will always have a place in my heart for the place.
