Letter of Complaint Essay Example
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to express how disappointed and dissatisfied I am with the service provided by your airline last month in the flight from Halifax to Nebraska.
My band and I were traveling back home after several weeks of touring. We thought everything had turned out exceptionally fantastic, the only thing missing was that trip. Much to our surprise, that flight changed it all.
Everything had gone smoothly until we started hearing some unusual chattering inside the plane. Not until we looked outside did we realize what it was all about. It turns out that baggage handlers from your airline were hurling the luggage of the passengers about without any concern whatsoever. I looked in awe wishing our instruments weren´t there but they were. What is worse, when I tried to warn the employees they ignored our complaint completely. Unfortunately, what I feared the most happened, when I went to check on my guitar in Nebraska it was broken.
As soon as I got out from the airport I started calling to your offices to explain what had happened, but unluckily instead of getting some understanding I was completely and utterly ignored. I have to admit that I didn´t expect this kind of treatment from a company who claims to be one of the most trustworthy airlines in the world, but I guess we can´t trust anyone any more.
After being on hold too many times I decided to write this complaint hoping it will reach the authorities of the airline and I can start getting some answers. You can imagine what a guitar symbolizes to a musician, especially one who makes a living out of it. That is why I expect a complete refund of the damages as soon as possible. As a regular client of the airline, I hope that you don´t fall on deaf ears and hold responsibility regarding this issue.
Yours

“Passengers flying Flight QF563, please be advised that Flight QF563 has been delayed for an hour, we apologise for any inconvenience”, the groans and murmurs from other passengers clearly demonstrated the irritation and anger that was felt by them. Because I was at the back, I couldn't tell what was going on in the first class section. Three people with red bandannas entered the cockpit. The had left one person outside of the cockpit who was holding something in his hand. After a minute or so, they came back out of the cockpit dragging two bodies behind them. They went back in the cockpit and within a minute we were told from the new pilot that they had a bomb on board. They allowed us to make phone calls. I was the first one to be able to make a call. My parents didn't pick up the phone, so I left a message telling them that my plane had been hijacked. After I left a message, I sat down in my seat and let others…

She was already frustrated as she was running late for her flight. I explained to her the necessity for conducting a bag search and that it appeared that she did have numerous prohibited liquids inside her bag. She ranted for a bit about how ridiculous this policy was and that she paid a lot of money for her items. I took it upon myself to calm her down and re-explained the policy and showed her what she needed to do with her items when she travels. I listened to her concerns and helped her pack her smaller non-prohibited liquids into a small quart size plastic bag that was permissible for carry-on. As we worked together to correct the problem, she explained that her exasperation with the checkpoint and being late was of her own doing. After we conversed and worked together to separate her items, I escorted her to the exit with all her property and the bag she decided to check with the airline. In the end, she was calm and apologetic and thanked me for my patience and professionalism in handling her concerns and…

November 17, 2015 was one of the most memorable days in my life. After eleven long years I was finally going to see my family in New Orleans. My cousin, Mykeasha, and I had to fly all the way from California to Louisiana. Since we had to board the plane in LA(Los Angeles) my mother-in-law decided that she would take us. When we arrived to the airport to leave California, I started to feel a little home sick. ''Maybe it's my nerves,"I thought.'' I know once I board that plane and we take off there was no turning back.'' We proceeded to Bag Checking to check our bags in, the lines moved very quickly and after that we relax until it was time to leave. It started to seem real and I knew that in a few hours we will no longer be in California. When…

The night before my flight was the longest night of my life. I tossed and turned and my bed was a tangled mess of sheets and anxiety. When I eventually drifted off into dreamland I was rudely interrupted by my alarm which at first sounded like the sound made by the button you press when summoning the steward on a plane. With adrenaline pumping I got ready in a jiffy and we left for the airport.…
