My Father and mother were there (including me).I was in Trinidad and I was going to America for the first time. I was around the age of 2 or 3 years old when I was moving. My mother and father were also young at the time. I woke up with my mother telling me it’s time to get up and go.4:00 am the clock said. I didn’t want to leave but I had no choice. I rushed to the bathroom, washed up, brushed my teeth, and ate. I went outside with my mother and saw a man and my father putting his stuff and mine in the cab trunk. My mother kissed and hugged me for a long time. Then, I hopped in the cab with tears waving good bye to my mother. The event affected my life because it was a sad day for my mother.
I was moving from Trinidad to New York for a very long time. She (my mother) couldn’t come with me and my father because my grandmother didn’t agree to let my mother go with us.

My mother was telling my father how much she loved him in addition, to take care of my child (Shawna, me).My father promised her that when he gets his green card she could come down and get hers.
Then my mother told me she loved me and then we had to leave. I cried
In addition, told her good bye and she said bye to me and my father and told us to be careful. My mother was hugging me. Her warm hug warmed my heart saying its okay. I smelled the bakes in the oven that my next door neighbor makes in the morning she start crying like I never saw her cry before. I still had that bubble gum taste that I brush my teeth with in my mouth. Waving good bye to my mother Tears burned my eyes as the cab drove
