A Weird Encounter
It was a Saturday around four or five o’clock. The sun was shining as bright as it could, with a slight breeze. The weather felt like the beginning of summer, end of spring, yet spring had not even started yet. Then the clouds came to darken the scene. The accident took place at the McDonalds just off the highway in Lake Town.

Kyle was working another normal day at work; nothing too exciting had really happened all day. Kyle could not wait to get off at ten. He was thinking about playing Diablo III after work when, all of a sudden, there was a loud noise from outside. A man named Jake had driven his truck off off the road and onto two other cars, totaling all three of them. “I have to get out of here,” Jake said with a scared shaky voice. “The sun is after me. It is trying to kill me!” he shouted out.

Before the crash, Jake had begun to speed faster and faster. Jake fell into a trance and just stared at the sun while driving; everything else around him became dark. He drove off the road and went right through the two cars. When he looked up, the two men he hit got out of their cars. They just wanted to see if he was ok. “Cannibals!” he insisted on shouting. I need to get out of here, he thought to himself. He grabbed his love and ran into what he thought was a cave. Kyle stood there watching from behind the counter as he opened the door and walked in. As he looked around, there were more people; they just stared. He just kept whispering, “These people want to take us away. They want to separate us.” Jake put his hood up and grasped his love tightly in an attempt to keep her safe.

He started to approach the counter. “What can I get for you today?...” Kyle said to him, but there was no response; he just kept approaching. Kyle repeated himself to Jake and Jake stared at him, trying to stay hidden behind his hood while he opened the door to walk behind the counter. The people inside paid no attention to him, they just continued to cook. Jake thought they

At approximately 8:00 a.m. on April 25, 2015, Allana Johnson was traveling east on Sunshine St. intending to take US 65 south to Branson for work. As she got close to Lone Pine Rd, she glanced to the right at the intersection to be sure no one was going to make a right turn in front of her. It was all clear so she entered the intersection when a vehicle came out of nowhere directly in front of her. As a result, Allana had no time to react, and she violently slammed into the passenger side of the vehicle on the passenger side in a T-bone effect.…

The adventure and thrill had us excited and apprehensive. We talked and joked most of the way. Nearing Lynden, we began to calm down but we had a nervous anxiety that stirred in us. Arriving at the Goatman’s house, at 666 Badger Road, the uneasiness in the van could be felt. We were…

Jason McFarlane was galloping in the deserted, pebbled street, with his attaché case, his knees still shivering, trying to catch his breath. His heart pulsed and pumped in such a pace that he felt it was going to jolt out of his chest. His squeezed palms, as all his muscles, soured by anxiety. Cold sweat trickled down his neck. He could not bring himself to calm down, although he was paining to. Inhaling the frosty air, he raised his duffle coat collar up to his ears. The night was cold, crisp and clear.…

I started by asking Mr. and Mrs. Smith what they remembered about the night. The mother hesitantly replied saying her son had told her that he heard weird footsteps before he was attacked. She then started to weep from the realization that the footsteps were from the attacker. As her husband tried to comfort his grieving wife, I asked him what was taken from the house. He thought for a moment and then replied, “Nothing, not a God damn thing.”…

He was standing on the ledge and was frozen, not knowing what to do. He was thinking, thinking about falling. He stood there frightened. “You mean dragged and eaten?,” Stiles said.”We didn’t find the car until three days after the crash. They had driven off the into a pretty deep ravine. Two bodies were still in the car were covered in bites and slashes” Sheriff Stilinski said looking at the pictures of the crime scene. “So you’re thinking bites and claws mark, probably a werewolf attack?” Stiles said with curiosity. “Maybe” his dad said shrugging his shoulders. “But coyotes, they scavenge right ? So, couldn’t they have just left the bites and the slashes?” Stiles said with a confused face. “Absolutely, but guess what the night of the accident occurred on?” his dad asked. “The night of the full moon” Stile said while his eyes widened like plates. “Yeah” the sheriff said. “Hey, Dad, where are all these going?” Stiles said. “Yeah, we, uh,We probably need to talk about that” he said. About two years ago when I volunteered for china-town policing center, I discerned an extraordinary accident. And I was almost traumatized by the event. It indeed has given me a great lecture for being a safe driver and a disciplined pedestrian. I remembered it was 3pm May 28th afternoon. The day was so nice that our patrol team decided to go for a bike patrol.…

One day, Johnny asked to hang out. First, we met each other at school as usual. We didn’t wear shirts due to the hot weather. As usual, we rode our bikes to the corner grocery to grab a cold soda pop. That was what we usually did when we were bored and didn’t want to be in first period class. It was also a good way to resist heat because of the trees. We were riding through boundless country roads where nothing can be seen except for green rolling pastures and thick rows of trees. We would like to feel the silence rather than talking a lot. Suddenly, silence was broken by a loud voice.…

On the sunny morning of June 28th 2012, my life changed forever. Or should I say the way I viewed it, in its own complicated, strange, yet beautiful way. After months of planning my friends Chasen, Aaron, Kayla and I left our hometown of Carlsbad, New Mexico to head to a concert in Las Cruces, New Mexico. We had eaten breakfast and my gas tank was full, so we just took off. We played our music super loud and laughed about little things that had happened in the previous week. When we were about forty five minutes away I realized that I had forgotten the charger to the GPS, and the battery was close to dead. “Great”, I complained, “this is sure to be a hell of a trip guys, we’re going to be so lost… can anyone read a map?” “Nope”, Chasen, Kayla, and Aaron all replied in unison. I continued to drive as we came up behind a long chain of school buses, there had to be at least five or six of them all going at least thirty miles below the speed limit. “Do you think I can pass these stupid buses?” I asked nervously and impatiently. “Yeah, you should be fine”, Kayla said. So I started to pull into the opposite lane and began to accelerate from forty five to sixty, then almost at seventy miles per hour and BOOM. I heard a loud popping noise and smelled intense burning. “What the hell was that?!” I yelled. “Pull over, now!” exclaimed Kayla. So I did, and we popped the hood.…

I let out a gasp which might shocked him as he let go my hand straight away. “You fainted, so I carried you in. By the way, nice to meet you again, Rose.” I just stared at him, not believing that he was there. It must be I dreaming, so I pinched my hand and I can felt the pain. It was not a dream. I was surprised by how much Jake had…

The cold numb feeling was freezing every part of me as I sat quietly inside the car that was twirling in the middle of the highway. Sitting there and patiently waiting for the airbag to explode and cover me as if it was my moms arms took some fear out of me but my body still shivered as if there would be no tomorrow. Even though its been almost four years, I can still recall that day as clear as crystal, yet most of me wished it would just turn into thin air and disappear. As I sit still today, I think of what would have happened to me if I had lost a loved one in that incident. That night made me realize about two important concepts in life. First, to respect what we have and make the best of our time because we never know when life can take it all away and second, to respect nature because when nature prevails itself, it can either kill us or save us.…
