A Thesis Statement
My thesis statement is:
The main stream media is very influential on how the public views events; therefore they have a moral obligation to report unbiased news.
Or:
The news media undeniably influences public opinion; therefore the media has a moral obligation to report news without bias.
In regards to compelling arguments I will use specific events that swayed that no doubt swayed the opinions of the public. The Waco Seige was an event where certain information was released to the public about the Branch Davidians that was not factual or distorted to raise ratings. The abuse of the government agencies giving one-sided accounts of the events that unfolded in Waco. I also would like to touch on the Medias quickness to report without using responsible journalism.My thesis statement is:
