A Best Friend is Man’s Best Friend
Dogs have been known to be “Man’s Best Friend” for thousands of years. More commonly known to be man’s best friends are dogs, rather than cats and any other animal. Most people consider a best friend as someone who is there for you when you are sad or lonely, when you need someone to talk, cry, or laugh, however a man’s best friend is all the same and more. Dog’s today are referred as man’s best friend because they are loyal, faithful, intuitive, trust worthy and loveable. They are animals that people get really attached to as if they were another human being, a best friend that is closer than any other being. Good friends are loyal and stick by you no matter what, and that’s especially true when it comes to man’s best friend. Dogs will search for their companion even if there nowhere to be found. Some people say it’s because dogs depend on people for food and shelter but when you see how dogs react when there human companions or their canines friends come back after they’ve been gone for a long time you notice how excited and happy they become. Or when their human’s companions or canines friends don’t come back at all you notice that they become very sad and they seem like they have no energy in them. They start whining at times and it seems like they are mourning. You notice that it’s more than just food it’s their true emotions for which they care about. For example, according to Nick Piso, in the article “Loyal dog attends mass every day at church where owner's funeral was held, waiting for her to return,” a heart broken dog named Tomy continued attending services at an Italian church where his owners funeral was held after two months (Piso 1). It is sad but they are loyal by nature. I for one do not find it hard to believe because I have experienced with my own dog Bonita. A couple of years ago I spent a summer in Mexico longer

But they usually try the “cheap” route which is only the cheaper choice at the moment. Humans are fine to show love and affection, but pets are even better. The only problem is, pets show a tremendous affection, and in the article “Why A Man’s Best Friend Is A Man’s Best Friend” it says,“Children often turn to their pet for comfort if a friend or a family member dies or leaves the family. Grieving adults who did not have a close source of human support were also found to have less depression if they had a pet”(Drs. Foster & Smith Educational Staff). Dogs know exactly how their human is feeling 99% of the time and if they do not know, they are always trying to figure it out. In “Huffington’s Post” they said, “Dogs are very attuned to humans' moods, which makes them a good gauge of what we're feeling. They're "an emotional barometer. Dogs have been domesticated for about 12,000 years," he says. "One of the things that research has shown is dogs have learned over these years, perhaps better than any other being, how to read our nonverbal behavior." (Klein,…
