The requirement for change is to broaden the business in the local area to increase the market shares by minimum of 7.5%. ZieTel logistics would also need to improve or enhance the running of distribution activities with the application of modern technology such as GPS and PDAS. Beside that, establish and control the united and sufficient driven manpower. Lastly, boost the effectiveness of work and reduce time of delivery with greater truck fleet.

• Review the organization’s current policies, practices and operations delivered against the organization’s strategic goals
The operational goals are to put into action of latest distribution administration system by first half of year 2016, bring in 16 new trucks within year 2016-2017.

A lot of staff injured due to the bulky lifting and also argument regarding claims and pays. The company’s people exchange information via email, and newsletter will be printed out for drivers, while the administration staff can access the information in the office. Each truck is equipped with GPS system to help the drivers on navigation, PDA will be given to drivers as well to record details of pick up and drop off, then the data will be sending back to head office. However, truck drivers are not happy with the changes and do not want to accommodate, while the head office staffs have a confidence to change and willing to cooperate.

Technological trend: As there is an invention of new technology to improve the distribution systems by using PDAs and GPS, the business have the favorable circumstances to increase its market share by improving its effectiveness and efficiency with less error occurs and proper system to gain customer
