My writing process all depends on what I am writing. Some writings I can sit down and write the whole things and be done with it, while others can take me multiple days or even weeks. I normally sit down and work on it until I finish, get tired of it, or a hit a roadblock. I try to stop when I feel like I am writing the same thing over and over or if I feel like I just need a break. Most of the time, if I feel like I am writing and it is really bad, it is because it is and I need to take a break and come back to it later. Working on it in pieces normally works well for me, to break it up and take it a little bit at a time. I normally struggle when I do not like what I am writing about or when I run out of information to put in my writing. I…

I learned that my audience didn’t really know anything about my past. They had no idea what it was like for me to be on bed rest for a few weeks with only books and note pads. I feel like I was really successful in fulfilling my purpose of telling my audience about why I started writing. I told my audience the reason I started writing. I helped them feel exactly what I did once I started writing.…

Being honest will make yourself feel better and in the long run it will help the other people too. Telling the truth is so hard for so many people these days but in order for you to feel good you have to do it.…
Jacob Conley not mean that an educational plan is only appropriate if it maximizes a child’s potential. Walczak v. Florida Union Free Sch. In everyday life, however much I am experienced, I will still find some fear in whatever I do. Thinker, information-gatherer, writer, students, and different employees find it difficult to some bit of writing whenever they are to do so. Prewriting, writing, revision, and editing are the process that will up my skills of writing. Before any blank paper is filled with content, there are many prewriting principles that must be adhered in order to get started. Moreover, finding the idea of what to write about is the most important aspect that must be addressed. It is important to use much of my brain to select that idea or topic that is general because I will not be limited to ideas.…

My writing process has always been a frustrating one. I like writing, but I don't think I'm very good at it. When I was younger, I loved letting my creative side shine by writing silly stories and pretending I was Stephen King, using words that I didn't even understand. My dad read me Shel Silverstein's books of poems and and drawings. Those books inspired me so much to write and to draw and be creative on a blank sheet of paper.…
As a student coming fresh out of high school I am still used to writing as I have been taught since I was in middle school. We were taught to outline, make a first draft, have someone read that draft, revise and then hand in the final copy. This is a long and boring process that has not changed and is always so repetitive. We always had to write five paragraph papers about things that would never be relevant to my future. In this class I hope to change my approach and how I feel about writing.…
When I work alone, I rely on myself to keep track of all parts of the task I’m working on, which can at times prove stressful. However, working with my group on this project meant that I wasn’t required to take care of everything, and that I could depend on the other members to complete their parts of the project, which brought a little peace to my mind and allowed me to work somewhat more effectively as I researched and wrote the paper. My group members also influenced me in that they offered different approaches to research and were able to show me methods and interpretations that I myself had not thought of. These different perspectives brought together allowed me to become more efficient and successful at using resources and thinking through problems I encountered during the project. Also, during the writing process, my group members gave me their opinions and input regarding my work, and in some cases they pointed out mistakes and inconsistencies which I had not recognized in my own work. This not only improved my writing and the paper overall, it allowed me to recognize those mistakes in the future and become a stronger writer and better member of the group. Overall, working with my group for this project proved beneficial in creating better conditions for research and writing, as our unique standpoints brought together shaped the paper and the project…
One objective that stood out to me was to evaluate individual writing process to allow flexibility in adapting writing tasks and situations. I chose this objective because I definitely learned how to write better with figuring out my own writing process or what works best for me when writing. Also revising each essay that was assigned to us helped me not only fix my piece of writing but I learned how to revise others writing as well. When others revised my writing I got to see a glimpse of what other people are thinking of my writing and that makes me able to fix my writing more and learn from it.…
For as long as I can remember I have always dreaded writing papers. Just knowing that I had a paper due would give me anxiety. I never really understood how to format an essay or research paper. The part that scared me the most was whether I was correctively putting my sentences together along with placing punctuations in the right place.…
A trip to the ocean can be a relaxing escape from the everyday pressures of life. A sailboat glistening on the horizon provides a mental escape to faraway places. The rhythm of the ocean beating against the sand is sedating music to a troubled mind. A slow, gentle breeze can relax your tensions. You should always be careful to avoid overexposure to the sun at the beach.…
