write about myself
My name is Koh Heng Huat. I am from Sungai Petani, Kedah. I am now in my second semester of International Affair Management program. I am going to tell you little bit about my background and interests in this essay.
I was born in a small village called Tanjung Dawai it’s located about 30 kilometer from Sungai Petani. I spent my first 13 years of life in Tanjung Dawai. A top place in Tanjung Dawai is Telok Bala beach. I went to beach every evening with my friend. My favourite activities in Tanjung Dawai is fishing and swimming.
When I was 14 years old, because of my father’s business he decided to buy a small house at Sungai Petani and move our life from a small village to a City. After we move to Sungai Petani, I started continue my education in SMK Dato’ Bijaya Setia. At that time, I focused on achieving my goals including learning some new musical instrument. In my junior year, I joined piano club, math club and also enrolled in few honor clases. Along with school, I also found a part time job at a local restaurant to reduce financial stress of my parents . Moving in to a new country and settling there (here) was a huge challenge for me and my family.
I like playing basketball and chess. I always enjoyed doing math. Growing up as a child and until now, it has been mine and my parents dream for me to become a Doctor or an Engineer. But I decided to become a accountant because I like to calculate all the thing in my life. After the release of STPM result, I got 3 pointer and above, I try to choose the course that I like in some famous University in Malaysia. The life is trying to drive on me. I do not get the course that I like. But I believe that this is the part of the challenge in a human life.
I hope to get better communication skill. Five years from now, I want to do well in my study and get a great job after I finished my degree.
