Working As A Multidisciplinary Team

Avis, I really enjoyed reading your post. Working as a multidisciplinary team definitely has it benefits, not only for the team that is involved but also for the client. I agree with what you said about the team having more resources available and there are more opportunities for feedback within the team. It is a great way to bounce around different ideas; sometimes we may feel that we have the best treatment plan but someone else may have one that has never been used and should be given a chance. Having the team give feedback helps in deciding if certain parts of the treatment may or may not be affective for the client. Each one of the team members has a specialty in their specified area so the plan of care will be implemented in a more professional
