Wonders of Modern Science/ Science in Everyday Life
Science has accelerated the tempo of life. Wherever we cast our eyes, we realize the attainment of science. Modern life means life is a blessing of science. Science has offered us with a lot of amenities in our life. So, it is said that life today is in the lap of science. Life in a modern life means life in a laboratory. Our towns, our cities all are planned scientifically. Science adorns it, science protects it, science maintains it, and science feeds it, science guards it and what not?
Wherever we look at, we can see the blessing of modern science. Among the blessings of modern science, electricity is the first and foremost one. It’s a great source of power and energy. It has brought about a revolutionary change in our life. Modern civilization would come to a standstill if there was no electricity. It has made our life comfortable, easy and enjoyable.
Telephone is another blessing of science. It helps a man to talk with anyone sitting in any corner of the world. Mobile phone is the latest boom in our modern communication sector. It’s easy to use and isn’t costly at all. A person can talk to another while sitting under the quilt or sitting in a corner in his native village.
Another great wonder is television. It enables us to watch and enjoy news, games, programs, sports, dramas, cinemas etc sitting in our drawing room.
The inventions of railways, aero planes, steamers, motor cars etc have enables us to travel to the very end of the world. These transports have brought the world close to us. By aero planes we can fly faster than the birds.
The inventions of Penicillin, X-rays, ECG, and Radio Therapy etc are some other blessings of modern science in the field of medicine. They have enabled us to fight against various kinds of diseases effectively.
The invention of rocket is also a wonder of science. It has made space travel easy. With its help today man can fly even to the moon.
