Why Soccer Is Important
Soccer has always been one of my favorite sports ever since I was little. When I was little I didn't really know how to play soccer because I was shy and did not want to go near the ball therefore I was really bad. Now that I'm a senior I have realized in the years that I have played that there are a lot of tears, injuries, hard work and friendships. I have made many friendships while playing soccer. I would literally trade anything to play soccer again, even though it is difficult it was definitely worth my time and hard work.
Soccer is a very hard sport. In order to play you have to have the speed and agility in order to keep the ball moving out on the field. If you don't the other team will steal the ball. Your speed will come as you get in better shape. Being in better shape will make you a better athlete. Also having speed will allow you to get to the ball and down the field faster.
There are many skills you learn to play this sport. One of the most important skills is working as a team. You have to work together in order to get the ball to the goal. There are many challenges to working as a team but no matter

The refs have two different cards. How the cards work is if you push someone with your elbows but didn’t mean to you get a warning. The seconded time it happens you get what is known as a yellow card and you have to sit out for a while just to calm down. The worst card to get is a red card. The red card means you have to sit out the rest of the game and the next game. There are different ways of getting red cards. Usually red cards mean you are being too aggressive or have continuously been warned by the referees. These penalty cards are not just for the players. Parents and Coaches can also receive a red or yellow card. The parents and coaches can get carded or even sometimes can get thrown out of the game.
