Why Is William Shakespeare Still Remembered Today

A man with a standard education, yet good in real e-state, and amazing with his word. This was William Shakespeare. Shakespeare is long gone, but still remembered today. He is widely known for his work in the theatre, for such as writing plays. This shows that Shakespeare is often looked at as the greatest man literature has ever known. Shakespeare lived in a London full of variety including anywhere from loyalty to beggars, but this is what many would expect from modern day London in the 1500’s. In typical society back then, people did as we do today, and worked for their well-being. In the text it states, “Although anyone who had some level of trade, craft, or artisanal skill could make a life in London, one obstacle they faced was the guild system(Rasmussen 1)”. That was a problem people had to worry about was guilds and disease. Back then, London was a bad place to be poor, or have a disease.
