Why Is Hamlet Lonely

Hamlet now feels lonely and heartbroken that his father is gone. Hamlet doesn’t know what to do anymore, he’s lonely but he doesn’t know what he should do without his dad. Hamlet is debating on taking revenge on Claudius. Claudius’s relationship towards Hamlet, Claudius is jealous of Hamlet. Claudius is trying to get revenge on Hamlet by slowly planning how or when he is going to actually kill Hamlet. Not only was Claudius related to Hamlet he was his uncle. Claudius was mentioned plenty of times throughout the story about being family. At the beginning of the story Claudius wanted Hamlet to treat him as if he were his father. Hamlet didn’t want to so he stuck to only knowing him as his uncle. Claudius wants Hamlet dead. Hamlet doesn’t want to call Claudius his father. Claudius married Gertrude which was Hamlet’s mother. Now Claudius went from being his uncle to being his father, so now Claudius plans out how he is going to kill Hamlet. In conclusion to this paragraph my thoughts on Claudius are, he was an extremely jealous man.
Ophelia often times was told to spy on Hamlet for Claudius. Ophelia spying on Hamlet led to her and Hamlet connecting so then the two of them suddenly became in love. Claudius was kind of demanding towards Ophelia. Ophelia lives the life of a father being extremely controlling. Claudius wants to tell Ophelia who she can and can’t marry. He often times wants to plan her life out for her. She soon doesn’t like that and goes against him with Hamlet. Ophelia soon doesn’t understand Hamlet. Ophelia now wants to be seen with Claudius. Ophelia now leaves Hamlet after hearing the hurtful things he said about her to her. In conclusion to this paragraph Ophelia seems like an undeciding
