In Sparta, babies are thrown off of cliffs hours after birth if they are weak. Which is one reason why Athens is better. In Athens, you can do whichever profession you want, compete in The Olympic Games, and enjoy a modern lifestyle. The Olympic Games were held in Athens near Mount Olympus. The Games were originally created to honor Zeus. It has many different events, most of them still played today in Track & Field. The winners became celebrities. In Athens, They had a very modern lifestyle and had modern buildings and inventions compared to Sparta’s very simple lifestyle.
