Why I Want To Become A Social Worker

Obtaining a degree at Heritage University will impact me because I will be the first in my family to graduate. I will also be the first to graduate from high school. My mom dropped out of school when she was a freshman and my dad did not make it passed third grade. I want to obtain my degree because I want to be a social worker for children. I want to get more people to become foster parents to help more children. I was in foster care when I was younger and it put an impact on my life to the point where I wanted to help more to put myself out there.
