Why Does College Matter?

Why does college matter? Is college important for us to go to? How can college help us with in life? College is important because if you go to college you could major in more things.Also, college matter because the next generation that happens will go to college because they will follow their footsteps. People with college will be able to have the rights to vote for others. More likely to be informed about politics. A college education will determine income or wealth in determining who is informed and engaged. People with college degree will work more with charities. In part it’s because they have more time to help them , but it’s also because college is when young people encounter meaningful diversity and think seriously about their commitments.

College means to me that you will get a better job because you will have a better education.If you go to college the employment will increase or decrease over the period of time. I know that the employment would increase because in the text “The case for college “ it says “ student who graduate from college can expect to make about 60 percent more than those who do not , well over a million dollars more.”(Faust,paragraph 7). This quote means that you would make more money than the person who did not go to college.Also, I know that if you go to college you will make money.
