Why Do You Want To Be A Hero?
U.A. High is the top academy for heroics in the world. It’s the best place to study if one wants to be a hero. That's why I, Izumi Midoriya, am here.

"WELCOME ONE AND ALL TO MY LIVE SHOW!!!" The voice-type hero, Present Mic, said.

I’m in the presence of a professional hero. Normally I’d be overjoyed but because of a certain person beside me, I can’t.

"I'm sorry." Said the one who tormented me during my elementary years - Bakugou.

"It's all in the past now. Forget about it." I said that but in truth, I want to tear him apart. But as a future hero, I have to let go of this feelings… sigh…

"Izumi I-" - Bakugou

"Now that we've moved on, please stop talking to me. Treat me like a stranger. I may have forgiven you but that

"WHAT'S THE MATTER!!! THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS COUNTDOWN IN REAL BATTLE!!! RUN!!! RUUUUN!!! CONSIDER THE BATON TOSSED!!!" - Present Mic

Thanks to my early start, I was the first one to reach the city and I immediately found a target – a robot as tall as an adult man. It looked more like a tank with legs due its thick armor.

I calmly pulled a6 papers from my pouch and folded them into sharp projectiles. I activated my quirk once I got the right shape and threw one to the robot's weak point – its eye. When my projectile was only an inch away from its target, I activated my ability again.

My quirk is paper fortification. With it I can harden all types of paper; furthermore, the weight of the paper increases based on how much I harden it. For a6 papers, I usually throw them at 50g then make them 10kg before impact. Without wind up I can throw them at 90 mph, you do the math.

I accurately threw my projectiles to all the robots that I encountered, destroying them instantly with just one paper. It became harder to find enemies with everyone else searching for targets but I still got quite a lot of points. Unfortunately, something happened a minute before the exam

It was five times larger than the other robots and looked like a spider. Furthermore, it had no weak point. None from my group could defeat such a thing so the obvious reaction was to run away. Actually, I could destroy it. But I'll gain nothing so-

As I glanced back at the giant robot, a guy with a rock-like head entered my sight. His left foot was stuck in a pile of rubble and it looked like he won’t be able to get out by himself.

It was only a matter of time till the giant robot crushes his body with its foot so I turned around and pulled out the folded a1 paper in my pouch and quickly molded it into a spear.

As I put a small weight into it, I started running towards the giant robot. After a few steps, I threw the spear to it's main body, the one where the eight legs were connected. I spun once to counter the residual force in my body and ran towards the guy.

The moment I reached him, I activated my quirk to the highest output. I heard a loud bang afterward but ignored it and proceeded to help the guy free his foot. Thankfully we were able to get away safely.

Now out of harm, we rested to stabilize our breaths. It was a few minutes later when he initiated a

When I heard the beep, I charged at the big burly 5th grade enemy fencer with my convulsing and jittering sword. I'm not even sure if I was using the proper footwork. Despite my little size, the 5th grader hesitated and began to stumble backwards. I hit him with the sword within seconds. I figured that if I "charge up and plow into them with the sword" the opponent would become overwhelmed and not be able to think straight, as someone runs towards them. This worked for even the biggest of…

In a war-torn world after the nuclear war, UN has made robots called 'claws' for killing humans on sight. What most of the humanity does not know is that the 'claws' have further made their own robots with higher intelligence and are trying to wipe out humans. Major Hendricks fears them because of the possible onslaught of their own creators. Hendricks fears come true when the Russians save him from "David" a variety of the robots. "From the remains of David a metal wheel rolled. Relays, glinting metal. Parts, wiring. One of the Russians kicked at the heap of remains. Parts popped out, rolling away, wheels and springs and rods. A plastic section fell in, half charred. Hendricks bent shakily down. The front of the head had come off. He could make out the intricate brain, wires and relays, tiny tubes and switches, thousands of minute studs—" (Dick). It came on translucent, parched, low riding legs. It crawled thirty feet below half of the population., a vigorous destroyer, flashing its delicate watchmaker's claws away its oily reptilian organic structure. Each claw was a nail , a thousand tiny nails all together , above thick ropes of muscle, sheathed over thick oily skin like the flesh of a ferocious warrior. Each tentacle was a string of spaghetti, smush, and mesh. And from the great breathing cage in the chest there was a tiny head that popped out, a head that would examine you and look deep into your soul, while the snake neck coiled. And the arm itself, a ton of sculptured stone, stayed low to the surface easily below the population. Its mouth gaped, exposing a row of squid like tentacles popped out. His eyes seemed to be inexistent, tiny stones,…
