Why Do People Fear Sharks

People fear sharks more often compare to coconuts due to evoulution. The purpose of fear is to promote human survival. When we enter the ocean, we're out of our natural habitat and it can cause fear of the unknown. The apperance of sharks can also play a role. Sharks have large sharp teeths and are huge animals. Knowing that a large creature with sharpe teeth could be creeping up on you is a terryfiing thought. I also think the media is the reason why people fear one thing to another. The media never talks about coconuts killing more people than sharks. I myself didn't even know that before this assiment. The media protrays sharks as monsters and killing machines with movies like 'Jaws'. In the other hand coconuts killing humans isn't something
