Why Do People Believe In Kris Kringle
1. I have faith in everybodys life theres a miracle at some point. Miracles happen consistently, however supernatural occurrence like miracles can go from individual to individual. I believe that God's guidance make those wonders possible. I would say everybody has seen one wonder in there life time because they happen every single day. I think that if you dont believe in miracles then you wont give them a chance to happen. Believing in miracles requires you to have faith just like anything else.
2. I think people believe in Kris Kringle because he is so confident with himself. Even though he knows that there isnt a real Santa Claus he still believes in himslef and allows other people to believe in himself also. With Kris being so assertive that he is Santa Claus, that allows for other people to have the faith to also believe in him. Even with people denying the existence of Santa Claus right and left he doesnt let that get to him.

There are many miracles performed by Jesus in the Bible. Some of the ones I find the most amazing are Jesus walking on water, Jesus feeds the Five Thousand, Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead and Crossing the Red Sea. I think the miracles done by Jesus tell us that he was the real Messiah. By doing these miracles, Jesus is telling us that he was sent by God and that he is the Son of God. It is said that Jesus is both fully human and divine. Jesus did acts that any human on earth would not have been able to do, making him divine. This helps us to believe he is the truly God's son that was sent to the earth to save humankind. In Jesus' miralces, they were used for good, by bringing happiness and by bringing

Santa is a man that represents the Spirit of Christmas. Kris Kringle believed himself to be Santa Claus, and the courts even ruled he is not crazy. It really comes down to perception. I can deeply believe I am an angel and even convince others I am an angel. Does that mean I am crazy or are we not agreed on what that really means? Kris Kringle is Santa Claus, but we have to decide what that means. Does he have reindeer that fly and pull a sleigh with all the children of the world’s presents? Does he have time to go to every obedient child's house and fit through the chimney? Does he have magic? Is he all knowing? Of course not, but he is still Santa Claus. For one thing, Kris Kringle didn’t disagree when the parents of the children flat out said they needed to go and buy their children the gift Santa just said they would receive. For example, the lawyer putting Santa on trial even admitted that he was the one who purchased the gifts for his son.…

Stephen Tobolowsky relays what he labels his “first crisis of belief” in his article “The Santa Conspiracy.” This “crisis of belief” occurs when he has a conversation with his six-year- old friend about his own questioning of whether Santa is real. Tobolowsky is struck by the confrontational and profound statement of this friend: “’It is always easier to want to believe in something than to say it never was true.’” Stephen is five years old when he is jolted by this philosophical maxim from his friend, Dwayne, so much so that over fifty years have passed, and this exchange is still pivotal to Stephen.…

As much as I would like to have faith and believe in a supernatural god that I have never seen or witnessed, it is impossible for a person like me to have that wishful thinking because I have to see it to believe it. I am more of a visual person, concluding that if I do not have proof of a supernatural god, we will never know if the god simply does or doesn’t exist.…

Jesus Christs impact on our world has echoed through time like no one else. With a 1/3 of the world following his message of peace, love, mercy and forgiveness so without this man, society would be a whole lot different today and probably for the worse. So weather you believe he was the son of God and was divine or just a philosophical thinker and a man of change either way you can not deny that he has changed the hearts and minds of people throughout…

If you had to define the word miracle how would you define it, do you even believe miracles to be true? I know that myself surely believes in them. This whole world is too amazing not to believe. The word miracle and meaning behind it is something I have never dove deep into and have never really questioned so, after reading chapters eight and chapter nine in Faith& Reflection and seeing two different definitions of what John Locke and David Hume think a miracle is to them, I definitely have two new views on the definition of a miracle and I am very eager to share my thoughts with you.…

“[Miracles] would not…answer any useful purpose.” said Thomas Paine, author of “Common Sense.” In Paine’s mind, miracles were out of the question because Christ would be degrading Himself and nature would have to change its natural order to accommodate Jesus. Perhaps, Paine could be considered a bit of a snob. Jesus walked the earth long before Paine’s time and had to use example from that time period to help people understand much like how Paine had to examples from the war in his paper to stir people to action. Christ used miracles in the culture He was in to help people trust him.…

    1. According to John Mackie, a miracle is an extraordinary event that’s conclusion is evidence of God’s existence and action within reality. For the event to be called a miracle, there are two requirements needed: a supernatural intervention to cause a violation of the natural world and for the event to have believably occurred, even if low certainty. This is a response to David Hume’s definition of a miracle as an impossible violation of laws. While Hume argue that miracles cannot be unless it can be reinterpreted within natural laws, Mackie state that with a purposeful intrusion from God allows for miracles to happen. Had someone died and came back to life hours later, Hume would state that person wasn’t died and his internal system took…

In my opinion if someone that you really trust tells you something than I would believe them but you also have to believe in miracles for yourself. You cannot just believe in what they say, you have to come up with your own opinions. Hume talks about how we confide in the trustworthy person because we are comfortable with them. We want to believe them so we tell ourselves that they are being honest with us. Hume uses an Indian prince as an example, he talks about how the water freezes in the cold. You know it is going to happen so you will trust someone when they say the water has frozen. The only problem is when you get them in a different climate, then they do not know what happens so they cannot trust just anyone.…

Also, to consider if it happened. Hume continues and says “If the falsehood of his testimony would be more miraculous than the event which he relates, then, and not until then, can he pretend to command my belief or opinion. A reasonable person should not believe in miracles based exclusively on a few testimonies. Hume argues that evidence for what occurs repeatedly always outweighs evidence for that which rarely or never occurs. Since miracles are a rarity and go against our uniform experience, Hume argues reasonable men should never believe in…

I think that my belief is true because of the things around me. It proves that we are created by only one God. If there were more than one god, the chaotic situation will be created in this world. The miracles of my God are also true. There is an example of the miracle of my God. My God has destroyed the people who did and thought wrong for the others. These miracles prove that there is only one God.…
