Anti-semitism was one of the causes of the Holocaust. According to the website call to conscience “this question lies in the strong anti-Semitic tradition in Europe” ("The reasons for the Holocaust"). This shows that anti semitism had already been occurring before the Holocaust. The website also states “a racist-biological anti-Semitism was developed, where the Jews were perceived as a ‘deformity on the body politic” ("The reasons for the Holocaust"). as a result of this Jews were labeled genetically inferior. During a lecture given by Todd Morgan he stated that the Germans blamed the Jews and that they believed in “proof of the ‘dark forces’ that had caused Germany to lose World War I” (Morgan 26 Feb. 2015. Lecture.)The Germans would obviously want to stop this so they would imprison the Jews. Further more, if you refer six million crucifixions one of the reasons why WWI was a cause of the Holocaust was “ the collapse of the German economy” ("Causes of the Holocaust"). Since Jewish people were strongly linked with the economy they were blamed for the depression which was actually caused by WWI. The loss of World War I is one of the many events that helped the Holocaust
