Why Compassion Is Important
The value that is shown the most is Compassion.The reason why compassion is important is because the most thing that make Xaverian focus on is Compassion because the school make you and others a community of brothers who all look out for each other. Compassion is also important because we are follow this view as a follower of God and we must share this with others. Compassion is also shown when we all come together for charity events like the Christmas toy drive, the thanksgiving drive, when we raise money on founder's week for ALS and many more. The value of compassion also help me in my way of viewing the world . The feeling of helping others for free not for recognition,discount,money or getting something back but, getting this feeling

    To help explain the ethics of compassion I will be using reference from the Dalia Lama’s book Ethics for the New Millennium, more specifically chapter ten; The Need for Discernment, and chapter 5 The Supreme Emotion.
