Who Is The Protagonist In Macbeth
In a small town in England there was a man named Shakespeare, he wrote exquisite plays, including Macbeth written in 1606. Macbeth was written as a fable, he often wrote plays for King James I, the book however is portrayed as suspenseful and very solemn.

The main characters would be Macbeth the protagonist and the witches as antagonist. Macbeth is portrayed as gullible because he believes everything the witches say about his destiny as king and as ambitious because he has just learned he is going to be king. The witches, however are portrayed to be clever and deceiving since at the end of the story they have a sneaky way to trick Macbeth into his death.

The main want and need is for Macbeth to be king. Lady Macbeth and Macbeth eventually
