When people rising to power become overwhelmed with ambition and greed they do whatever it takes to fulfill their dream. In the book Macbeth, the main character is such that, he is a greedy and ambitious man that took the next step to become king. Macbeth murdered the king at the time named Duncan, to ensure his place as the next king.
