This shows that in order from Balram to escape from the murder scene, he had to move to another city and change his identity so, that people won’t find him and use the money to start a new life. Balram did go through some rough times but, when he wanted to erase his existence it made him feel that he was nobody. “The story of a poor man's life is written on his body, in a sharp pen.” (Adiga 120). Balram’s selfishness caused him to move to another city and change his name just so, no one finds him but, his change in identity made him feel like a nobody and it lowered his self confidence that he won’t experience the interaction with others. There were days where Balram feels lonely from the incident that he escaped from and whenever he tries to interact with other people, he tends to move away from them. “A White Tiger keeps no friends. It's too dangerous.” (Adiga 117). This shows that he doesn’t want people that know him or related to him can expose who he really is and that can be a problem since he did kill his boss, Mr.Ashok for the bribe money. Even after he escaped from the murder scene and started his taxi business in Bangalore, he still has fear of exposure that someone that knows him may find him and probably try to get him back where he is being the king of his own game. This theme did make a dramatic effect near the end because he was able to escape from the murder that he caused, he has stolen money that he is using for his taxi business, and he changed his identity to prevent anyone looking for him which can be a good thing but, if they recognize his face, he can be in a lot of
