White Flight Patterns In The Early 1900s

On a warm summer day, John, a black man was walking on a crowded towns street. He was walking along the sidewalk when a white man bumped into him. The white man was upset and started yelling. John tried to apologize, but the man only got even more upset and started hitting the black man. John got beat up for something that happened on accident. Many situations like this happen often for no particular reason. Our society today has labeled African-Americans to maintain their power by not wanting to live near blacks, being labeled by the police for always being criminals no matter what, and being called by the “N” word.

The police could have just shot him because he was a black man, thinking that he was bad.
