Before asking him the reason, I have been thinking that it could simply be of his interest of becoming a dentist or having a chance to interact with any dentist that gave him influence to choose such career like me. However, it was impressive to hear that his main reason to become a dentist is related to his parents and for his family. After having to interview Dr. Waly, I am more interested and excited to become a dentist. Before having to ask him questions, I was only interested in dentistry in general, but now I am especially interested in specializing odontology. I am not really into pediatric since I was not good at treating children even though I like them. To think back, my first impression of becoming a dentist also came from seeing my sister getting her braces. I cannot assure if I am fit into being a dentist. However, I’m enjoying every experience I get from this field and I can’t wait to become a professional in this area. It was meaningful to have a moment to interview Dr. Waly and ask him questions that is more dental-related. It was a valuable chance to learn more about this field and even hear Dr. Waly’s personal

For a long time I have debated a career in business or psychology. If I chose psychology I would want to do something related to counseling, or even possibly be a psychiatrist. So I thought that interviewing someone in this position would help me understand if this was the kind of career I would be interested in.…
