Vosko Professional Paper There is a broad education gap among nurses, ranging from the diploma of nursing program, all the way to Bachelor of Science in Nursing. This gap has created numerous viewpoints on the role and definition of the professional nurse. Nurses face the challenge of overcoming these different views and definitions among the healthcare team daily; however, nurses share a common goal with all members of the health care team. This common goal, achieved through collaboration, is high quality patient care with better patient outcomes.
