Theobromine is used as a vasodilator, a diuretic, and heart stimulant. And similar to caffeine, it may be useful in management of fatigue and orthostatic hypotension. Theobromine is also used to make chocolate. The molecule of theobromine comes from a cocoa nut that is in a tree. Theobromine can medically be used to treat edema and angina.
