1. The theme of the story is, "never bight the hand that feeds you." I chose this as a theme because Macbeth was persuaded by his wife, Lady Macbeth, to kill King Duncan, a man who had trust in Macbeth. Toward the end of the story Lady Macbeth ends up committing suicide and Macbeth gets killed.
2. Macbeth is doomed not by fate but by flaw in his character because he was a weak person. Macbeth let Lady Macbeth tell him what to do and how to be a man. If Macbeth had a mind of his own and was a strong minded man he maybe could have avoid the situations he was in.
3. Macbeth mistake is not that he is ambitious, but that he enslaves his ambition to service of evil. Macbeth was using ambition to get higher up in society by killing off those greater then him. He let the thought of power and control get to his head. …show more content…
Malcom honor and virtue are a foil to Macbeth’s treachery and evil. Upon hearing his family is dead Macduff says, "I must also feel it as a man." Macduff has honor and love for his family that he is emotional at the loss. Being a man is the least of his worries knowing that it was his fault that his family was murdered. Unlike Macduff, Macbeth hides his true feeling.
5. Shakespeare explores Macbeth behavior in the play by showing how much he thinks he is better than everyone else. He feels as though he is untouchable. Macbeth kills a man staying in his house and feels no sorrow.
6. Shakespeare captures the human psyche in the imagery of Macbeth by showing what the character thoughts were. Lady Macbeth was so eager about killing the man she had no sign of
