What Is Isolation In Of Mice And Men

Of Mice and Men is an american classic, a heart breaking novel about true friendship and sacrifice.This controversial book tackles important social issues in its brief 106 pages. The author John Steinbeck tried to portray all characters different throughout the book and some might wonder why Steinbeck portrayed many almost all of his characters as lonely. Though there are some companionships between the characters like George and Lennie, there is still isolation seen in the novella. A perfect example of this is Curley's wife though she is married she has to be the biggest outcast throughout the story. She left her family when she got married, no one on the farm talks to her, and she has a drastic age difference from everyone on the farm.
