What I Learned When You Evaluate My School Year At Cms
When I evaluate my school year, many things come to mind. I think about friends. I think about the high and lows. I also think about how I grow. My 7th grade year at cms was full of concepts learned, memorable experiences, and personal growth.

I learned many things this year. 1 I learned how to do 2 step equations, in ms.pilato’s math class period 3. The definition of 2 step equations is ”It takes two steps to solve an equation or inequality that has more than one operation”. I didn’t fully understand what to do so on my freetime I would practice it. This is an example of a 2 step equation 3n+12=27. Also in ms pilato’s class I learned about genetics in 4 period ms pilato’s science class. We did lots of packets to help us understand this, we also took notes and read the textbook. Genetics are ”the study of heredity and the variation of inherited characteristics.” In plant genetics there can be two small plants and the baby plant can turn out tall, it all depends on the genetics. In ms.kavan’s language arts class period 7 I learned about tone, and I learned how to

Next, my character I didn’t want to make new friends, I didn't share things because I was selfish. But eventually I learned how to make the right type of friends, and I broke out of my selfishness. I knew how to share but I got better at it once I was exposed to sharing with new people. Last, in athletics I did volleyball this year and I was very confused. At first, I did not know what volleyball was. I didn’t really understand the consequences of it and rules. But I grew stronger in volleyball because I would ask questions and keep practicing.

The concepts learned, memorable experiences, and personal growth during My 7th grade year at cms was full of complication. I can challenge myself next year to have all a’s by the end of they year. I'm glad I made

Nancy was vehement while teaching me and was hoping I could start to fit in. Mr. Addams continues to tutor me after school and my grades have been gradually increasing. My classmates have also started to accept that I’m different and I’ll never be like them, but being different shouldn’t affect how I’m seen by everyone. I started to make small conversations with classmates rather than holding back my thoughts and others have seen my looks may be different than theirs but they could still be friends with me rather than judge my mistakes and the way I talk. I genuinely enjoyed learning to work at collegiate standard, and I am thankful for the course facilitating personal growth as well. I did not enjoy every assignment. There were some days when I even considered dropping the course. However, I overcame all of my difficulties with the class, and I earned my first “A” in college. Also, I know I will not regret taking both Comp I and Comp II as I prepare to leave high school and transition into a four year…

It was such a relief to not have to stress too much about this class because I knew I could work on it when I had time. Throughout crazy weeks, multiple projects and more I never had to spend a great amount of time worrying about turning my papers in. I could create my own schedule which is such a unique thing to find in schools. Also, like I mentioned before, the class gives students a chance to learn more than just where to put a comma. This course teaches self-dependence and that for a good grade all you have to do is complete the work and do your…

One thing I have learn is to ask my teacher for help, and get a tutor when I just can’t get it. This year I am pleased with what I have accomplish. I had to take math 115 for eight weeks and thought I was going to struggle with it. My professor went above and beyond for his class. He gave us the tools to succeed and achieve to be successful. I was willing to talk to people of other friend groups, and I became more involved with my schoolwork and talking face-to-face with other individuals. With growing connections I enhanced my communication skills along with my sense of self. Realising that I have time to grow and figure out who I want to be. I have grown more in the past year than I have in my lifetime and I have Lauren and Mikaila to be grateful for, they knocked over the first domino that lead to discovering…

So far my community college experience has been the best I’ve ever had. I have enjoyed the freedom, my coursework, and all the new friends I’ve made. When I first started college, I wasn’t excited at all. I just knew that the work wasn’t going to be as difficult as a university and I basically saw the whole idea as a joke. After just a couple of short months at Florida State College of Jacksonville, I see now that everything I thought about the school was just a simple minded cliché. Not only is this the same environment as a university but they have the same type of activities as well. I have not a doubt in my mind that going to a junior college prior to attending a university will set me up for the utmost success.…

I walked in with a small smile and immediately tried to start conversations, however nothing was doing it. I thought of all my funniest jokes and recited them one after another, but no one would laugh. I felt more and more like an outsider as the day carried on until I reunited with my only friend. We talked the whole english class and both explained the problems that we were having. “What do we do to make friends?” we both thought to ourselves. We decided to abandon the question and just forget about. The end of the day seemed so far away even though we only had two classes left. I then thought to myself one last time what my mom had told me the first day, “Go out and be yourself. Also, try to make some friends.” I then continued to pursue making friends, and sure enough my luck began to change. I made multiple friends in a short duration of time just because of one thing, which was me being myself. After my last class I walked out with something that felt memorable or special, that something was pride. I had finally made some…

As I move on to eighth grade I reflect on the many great memories I have shared at this school. Seventh grade was a fresh new year, not like sixth grade, or fifth, or fourth. You do not have high school next year like the eighth graders, you are not the young new ones like the sixth graders. You are the seventh graders or as many refer to the “middle class.” At this school I have done everything from fun field trips to studying for hard tests. From kindergarten to now going into eighth grade. Sometimes I cannot even believe I am going on to eighth grade. It seems like it was just yesterday when I was anxiously awaiting, for the first day of sixth grade.…

When second semester rolled around, it wasn’t so easy. I only had four real classes, but a few of them were tough. My schedule went along the lines of Foods, Government, College Comp H, Lunch, ISICS, Warrior Warehouse, Gym, and Algebra 2. This year I was lucky enough to have Mrs. Deardorff, Mr. Burm, Mrs. Myers, Mr. Hokinson and Mr. Myhre. They have been one amazing group of teachers. I learned so much from each and every one of them and I could not thank them enough.…

I never thought I could run so fast, but with all the energy I have from not doing anything all school year builds up. I used to always be into sports, always have to join all the clubs in school. But once my freshman year at Brown High I needed to change I couldn’t be Stevens’s sister or Haley’s sister anymore I had to be recognized as Emma. I always have expectations I must live up to with my Mom being Doctor Brown and my Dad being the one founded the High School I now attend. Don’t forget being behind my all star brother who is pretty much the team captain of the hockey team and known as the best player ever seen in North Carolina, and the worst part is having a sister who is six months older then you are and the most popular girl in school. I have a lot to live up to. To me I am the type of child who would rather hide then be seen, who would like to help then be helped. I try to blend in but with everyone knowing my family or having my family be so popular it’s very hard to hide.…

My junior year was tough. I had a lot of hard classes and teachers I did not appreciate. Every morning, I would wake up and say to myself, I don’t want to go to school. For me this was unusual. I have always been one of those people who jumps out of bed excited to learn, but junior year was miserable. The only thing that kept me going to school was choir. I could sing all period long and forget how much I hated the rest of the day. The class period was heaven to me and kept me going to school and on the right track.…
