What Does It Mean To Have Power And Integrity
What does it mean to have power and integrity?

Having power can mean multiple things. It can mean having control or an influence over people or things. It can mean something as small as having control over your own head. Power is capability and ability to control things, people, or yourself. Integrity is honesty and holding strong moral principles. Having both power and integrity gives a person goals (integrity) and motivation (power) to achieve them.

How can power impact today’s word?

Power is leadership. There is a line between leadership and control. Leadership is giving people options while control is making every decision based on your opinion. If the president took control over America (which wouldn’t be surprising with Trump in office)

    The term power can be defined different ways but our text, Organizational Behavior (2012), maintains that “power is the ability to influence the behaviors of others using formal and informal means” (Baack, 2012). Power and domination can work concurrently if balance is employed. A leader can take the power of their position to agreeably get subordinates to perform in a specific manner – the balancing act is exercising both power and domination in a way that isn’t abrasive, by figuring out a way to make employees or subordinates feel involved in the decision-making and action processes.…
