What Does Instagramming Our Food Say About Modern Eaters
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to explore the causes and effects of the 21st century popular culture trend of taking pictures of the many different kinds of food and publishing them on the mobile application, Instagram. Media attention has been drawn to this subject, history, criticisms and social impacts are the main concerns of the researchers in their attempt to dissect, analyze and unlock the meanings behind the practice that has been widely discussed and debated about.
