What Causes Immigration To America
America, “the land of opportunity” has been a destination for immigrants for hundreds of years. There are many causes for immigrants to move to America. The effects of immigration are varied. There are many causes for immigration, some are push factors. First, in the article “Why do immigrants come here?” by (Cathy pearl), people in some countries have a hard time finding jobs. Some can’t find jobs that they are trained for. Several countries have wars going on; some are under attack by terrorists. Many people in these countries are afraid of persecution because of race, religion, and beliefs. In addition, there are pull factors. Second, in the article “Why do immigrants come here?” by (Cathy Pearl), America offers different kinds of jobs
