What Are The Strengths Of The Brief Strength Test
The Brief Strength Test pointed out that I have many strengths. This includes humility/ modesty, self-regulation, persistence, open-mindedness, curiosity, and love of learning (Brief Strength Test). Some of these strengths were actually highlighted from my MBTI test. I was classified as an INTJ, which means I am introversion, intuition, thinking, and judging (The 16 MBTI Types). As the Brief Strength Test and MBTI test pointed out, I am self-confident, able to help people, independent, have leadership skills, seize opportunities, and determined. However, my weakness included personal relationship, especially romantic

Everyone may have strengths and weaknesses. Based on what I have learned from the Ethical Lens Inventory I found my strengths are fortitude and compassion. I demonstrate courage and steadiness in the face of obstacle. Because I value equality, when I am at my best, I demonstrate compassion for others. My weaknesses are confusion and entitlement. So I have to develop the practice of mindfulness and reflection, at some point I will confront the loss of my center, especially if I lose the role with which I have become identified. I pay attention; my temptation will be to believe that I entitled to special privileges because I have not…

The only weakness I have is adapting to change. I never knew I had this kind of trouble in life, but I learned about something I have to work on. After analyzing it I realize it is a problem. Because I get nervous when I start something new or when I get stuck doing something I cannot do, I start to get frustrated. After learning this about myself, I need to work on making my weakness into strength by adapting to any type of changes in my life. My strengths included following instructions and adhering to values. I am very good when I have instructions in front of me as I build something new or when I have an assignment. Following instructions is my biggest strength in my life because it is something I use every day. Adhering to values is something new that I learned about myself just because I never noticed it in my life. I am the type of person who will stand by the truth in every situation around my.…

The strengths that were not revealed through any of the assessments or the 360 feedback are idealistic, seek/value harmony, open-minded, flexible, passionate, energetic spirit, and dedication. I believe this was the case because I was an intern and had no power within my agency. I also believe that I put a target on my back because apparently in some social spheres kindness is taken for weakness and I fell hard on that. My field…

First my strengths from the report showed that I am aware of my own strengths and weaknesses and able to perceive others emotions well. While this result isn’t overall that surprising I then noticed I scored low in the areas of Emotional Identification, Perception, and Expression and Emotional Management. After studying the results further I discovered that although I can interpret my own and others emotions well I struggle at dealing with emotional situations overall which is a very accurate statement of my personality as I have always shied away from approaching emotional situations both in my personal and work life. I think that this assessment has shown me that I need to be more assertive, also one of my weaknesses, and not be timid about using my gut instincts which typically are correct about emotions and become more vocal in emotional situations. Both the emotional intelligence and MBTI reports have shown that my weakness lies in not using my emotional understanding to solve problems and that I rely on my analysis and details too…

o What are your strengths and weaknesses? My strengths are analyzing problems, and doing well through research. ,I tend to think through things and am able to solve a situation through past experiences and use good reason with intuition and imagination, which are all good qualities. I have self - knowledge and can balance responsibility with entrepreneurship. I am self- reliant and expect the same in return. I have wisdom and insight to situations and a great imagination as well. My weaknesses tend to be that I require people to do things my way to be the right way, in which I guess I have always had this outlook. I tend to be judgmental and acquisitive or possessive, that I tend to drive people away. I sometimes exert my freewill, thus not being accountable to those depending on me! I tend to be closed minded and do not listen objectively to facts of others or there interpretations.…

    Jung Typology Test Essay

    • 696 Words

The Humanmetrics Jung Typology Test was very accurate with the results of my personality type. According to Humanmetrics, ISFJs are characterized by their desire to serve others or “need to be needed.” As far as my strengths are concerned, the test was extremely accurate because I am warm, friendly, and affirming by nature; service-oriented; good listener; excellent organizational capabilities; good at handling money; and taking care of daily needs. However, it was wrong on two of the weaknesses that it listed, which were, difficulty branching out into new territory and difficulty moving on after the end of a relationship. I have moved majority of my life, especially during my entire 20s as an ex-military wife and had to adapt to very different environments all the time. My most recent example would be starting college for the first time in over ten years. The other weakness about moving on after the end of a relationship, I would also say is false, because although I take my time to heal and move forward in any relationship, I don’t say I do so with difficulty. I prefer to heal and collect myself and thoughts in order to be sufficient in the next relationship. The most surprising thing I learned about myself by taking this test was the extent in which I give my time, attention, and love to others. I already knew that I was a nurturer from how I am in day to day life and being told by most people I meet, but with reading the…

Reading the description for each word made me reflect on how I was using these five themes in my current life. Strength based assessment is a tool that focuses on people 's strengths rather than their problems, with an aim to move away from categorising the person as the problem and to focus on their strengths and resilience by empowering the client to be the problem solver. It is important for the worker to assist in recognising, organising and enhancing existing strengths and resources. The worker needs to be optimistic about what people can achieve by focussing on the capacities of individuals to be resourceful in different situations. Dennis Saleebey states (Saleebey, 2002) I firmly believe that once committed you will be surprised even amazed, at the array of talents, skills, knowledge, and resources that you discover…

I'm strong in these areas because I'm a naturally competitive person and find the need to compete with myself to do better then how I did before. My school engagement is because I have a natural interest and enthusiasm for learning new topics. Reading is a strength because it helps me understand people better, it allows me to look into the world and mind of someone new and get and understanding of why they are doing what they are doing. After completing the personal profile instrument, the results determined that I fall into the perfectionist profile pattern. Not at all enjoying being labeled, I am making a strong commitment to going with the flow. Interestingly enough, some of my strengths include loyalty, patience, family oriented, easy going, and one who resists change. I am totally in agreement with the descriptions from Inscape Publishing and how the profile assessment was presented. One of my strengths emphasized in the profile is having a deliberate demeanor. I believe my military experience played a very important role in this characteristic. Prior to that, like a majority of teenagers today, I was one of the wishy-washiest people you’d encounter. Being in the military; away from home and…
