What Are Advance Directives
Advance directives are a legal document that allows a person to plan, along with making their own choice of end of life wishes, in the event that; they are no longer able to communicate for themselves. The advance directives consist of a living will, which will help guide power of attorney and health care providers on the choices of medical treatment that, they wish to receive. A medical power of attorney is a trusted person that has been chosen to make decisions about the medical care they wish to receive if they are no longer able to communicate for themselves either temporarily or permanently.
