Abstract

The health care system is full of growth and change. Health care managers have become a lot more involved with project management. I think that part of the growth development in the health care business has to do with creating brand new medical patients, patient databases for health charts and technological enhances and this paper involves the six activities: coding, testing, installation, documentation, training, and support and also this assignment is a discussion on the conversion from the design stage to the implementation phase.

Coding

Transformations should be implemented into the code and area testing, and other suitable system quality assurance and validation developments should be performed. The coding will be carried out in little increments to guarantee the validity of the system. I believe that in this stage the code is the primary focus for the creator, and this is the longest staged in the system development phases. The objective of the coding stage is to translate the design of the EHR system into code in the provided programming languages. For a given creation, the target of this phase is to implement the design in the best possible way Satzinger, J. W., Jackson, R. B., & Burd, S. D. (2009).

The code is a process whereby the specifications developed in previous steps are turned into functioning computer codes. Once the code has been developed, it is tested against the requirements to guarantee that the system is solving the needs discussed and collected during the requirements stage and throughout the staged department testing and system testing, the approved testing is completed. Testing is the development of analyzing a product to see what defects it contains. I feel that this is the time where majority of the programmers will sit down in front of computers and do coding. During the code phase, each program will be tested

Subsequent to a health care organization acquiring a new information system, is the system implementation process, the third of four stages in the systems development lifecycle. A significant amount of support and dedication is needed from senior executives and should take precedence within the organization. Adequate resources should be available to all individuals involved in the execution of the new system. User training, installing new networks, converting data, new procedures, and various other changes must be properly coordinated to avoid political, cultural and behavioral issues (Wager, Lee, & Glaser, 2009, Chapter 6, System Acquisition).…

This article dealt with the aspects of the new and rising epidemic to which is referred as “bath salts”, or methylenedioxypyrovalerone (MDPV). The author shows an example of the effects of the drug by using set person, Mr. S, to show what happens to the average bath salt user. Mr. S is a fifty year old man who has had a prior substance abuse to methamphetamines and a history of violence resulting in incarcerations. After extensive tests, however; Mr. S did come up negative for HIV, gonorrhea, hepatitis, and chlamydia which would make one believe there is no necessary connection between disease and synthetic drug use/abuse. Mr. S’ case with synthetic drug abuse did, however; show a dependency for the substance. The case report tells how each of the three times Mr. S was discharged from his psychiatric holds/evaluations that he would relapse and continue the use of the drug. The discussion after the case study tells how there are three ways to partake in the use of these bath salts (inhalation, injection, and ingestion). At the end of the discussion it repeats how the substance is legal and how there is still many things unknown about it.…

When the dollar value of goods and services imported into the United States exceeds the dollar value of goods and services exported to other countries from the U.S., it creates what is called a surplus. When there is a surplus of imports that are brought into the United States, a deficit is created from the trade balance that occurs. Having a surplus of desired imports can create a lower price for the U.S. consumer and have a positive effect on the employment rate within the country where the goods were imported from. This has an effect due to the fact it will keep their citizens working.…
