Riordan Manufacturing is using different business systems throughout their branches. These different systems are causing difficulties, which produces errors in reporting and argument between these branches. San Jose has a license for a fully integrated Windows system without application source code. Michigan has a vendor software application that is no longer supported due to the vendor no longer being in business. To compound the issue, Georgia’s software is from a different vendor than Michigan’s vendor. A company that uses multiple systems will run into numerous difficulties, which can be prevented or resolved by planning and integration of a single business system that was designed and configured for all braches to access and use.…

After reviewing the results of the survey given to the employees, it became apparent that the degree in which the questions were answered did not yield a clear enough understanding to why so many employees were dissatisfied and left the company. The questions were administered using a survey and handed out along with pay statements to everyone within the study criteria. The survey used was developed to provide data regarding the overall work environment and its affect on the level of satisfaction. The answers were to be measured from employee responses. Unfortunately, the amount of participation needed was not obtained and the survey did not produce useful findings. Some of the information needed was not asked in the survey questions, errors were made when keying the information into the spreadsheet, and the response rate was astonishingly low at 17.3 percent.…
Since the beginning of time and into present times great leaders and decision makers have mastered the art of delegation. Over history we have seen the end product of what a great leader with delegation skills can accomplish using their most valuable resource, people. In biblical scripture examples of delegation can be seen in the choosing of “disciples” by Jesus himself in order to accomplish various tasks and missions. All great prominent generals from the times of Julies Ceaser to today’s modern generals such as David Petraeus, example effective delegation and its role in making them effective leaders. In my military time I witnessed firsthand the effective implementation of delegation and its successful outcomes. I have unfortunately also witnessed the failure and degradation of a unit’s effectiveness with poor delegation and it subsequent negative consequences. Knowing effective delegation is a timeless tool that any aspiring leader should hone and keep handy in there “back pocket” of managerial skills.…
With the completion of our environmental impact outline during week 2, our team is prepared to complete our environmental impact presentation for week 5. In the middle of rigor competition, the company should put attention to the competitor-based method to set its price. Furthermore, the case told that low price would have a risk of causing harm to their economic bottom line. Thus, the wireless company should formulate the marketing gimmick to compensate its low price. For example, Verizon lowers its voice plans price but in the flip side Verizon eliminates the data plan bonus. In addition, JP Morgan estimates that only…

The first article by Osmonbekov investigates the relationship between materialism and attitudes toward advertising in general. The second article by Taejun, the study examines US and Korean college student consumers' attitudes towards product placements in three different media films, TV shows, and songs. The product placement acceptability based on media genre and product type. Both of the articles state the main reason the consumers interpret marketing messages differently because of the selective perception of each individual. Humans are design to have their own particular selective perception that makes all of us different from each other.…
The business that I wrote about was the one that we have done for our group projects and just so happened to be the one I chose to do from week one. The business is Landslide Limousine and I was told to hit a few different point by Traci. They were “Alignment of the performance management framework to the organizational business strategy, Organizational performance philosophy, The job analysis process you will complete to identify the skills needed by employees, Methods used for measuring the employee 's skills, Process for addressing skill gaps and the Approach for delivering effective performance feedback” (University of Phoenix, 2015). The principles and strategies that I applied to my business should be the same that should work for any other business that any other member chose. Other members might have chosen other principles and strategies but ones I chose will work for any company. I went over Organization environments and how they are rich in feedback. “They stress continuous improvement, promote risk taking, offer one-on-one coaching, and afford opportunities to learn from the successes and failures of decisions” (University of Phoenix, 2015.) Next I talked about the company’s vision, mission and values and how they are important for a company both new and old. Then you need to provide data for job or competency analyses and apply them towards an HR department and set the HR department on their way for success. I touched on PET’s which are pre-employment training and how it will help gain the necessary employees as well as, help them gain necessary skills to be effective in their new jobs. I then spoke about practicing and on the job training to get all employees on the Limousine Company on the same page ad to make them more skillful at their jobs.…
My original community was in Hartland, Wisconsin. This is a predominately caucasian population. Most of the families that I grew up around were extremely wealthy and came from happy families. Community members in this area were most likely to contribute to the community with their monetary donations rather than volunteering. My neighborhood alone was populated with Lawyers, Doctors, Pharmacists, Dentists and the ever famous “Businessman.” Those were the fathers that no one really knew what their job entailed. Every so often a more modern family would move into the neighborhood, in my case, that was my family. A single mother and a her only child. My mother was a grocery store manager, a difficult task in its self but nothing as important, to other people, as a Doctor. The mothers of the families with fathers who made the “bread” would often get together for afternoon walks around the town, and baking nights. Community events took place mostly in the summer as Wisconsin is bitter cold in the winter. During the summer months community members would all gather on the streets downtown and sing and dance and drink. There would also be cookouts at the town grocery store in honor of different charities and school programs in the area. I would work the cook outs for my basketball team and track teams. It was a nice time and it allowed everyone to get together in the summer. Everyone in our community was nice, respected and respectful. When something would happen, such as an accident with high school students, it would effect the entire town. We had upstanding members of our community like the Chief of Police, who was a father of a daughter in my grade. He created a memorial for all the students who were lost in high school. It still stands tall in our town square. After we lost young members of our community, firefighters, police officers, emergency medical transponders would volunteer their off time to give speeches to all ages about the dangers of being un-responsible…
In some cases, a market penetration pricing strategy is used and introductory prices are set low to gain market share rapidly. Here, demand is highly elastic. Product differentiation increases with time as a brand image is built and prices are generally raised as the demand become less elastic.…
The higher prices of Apple's products compared to its competitors triggers signals to consumers; exclusivity, high-quality, uniqueness, coolness factor, etc. They also incorporate psychological pricing in a different way. As stated previously, the different variations of the iPod Touch retail at different price points. While applying product-line pricing, I also believe this strategy also urges its consumers to step up to the next model and pay more for a higher model. For example, the $399 iPod touch yields the best value because the price per GB is $6.23 ($399/64) while the $199 yields a price per GB of $24.88 ($199/8). These cues could lead to a purchasing decision that a customer did not anticipate (i.e wanting to purchase the 16gb initially, but ended up purchasing the 32gb or 64gb model). Customer will think that instead of purchase the 16Gb, why…
