Summary of Self-Assessment Outcomes

In this assignment, you will be creating a list of your skills, values and personality traits. Be sure to use the text material and lectures to assist you with completing the assignment.

Step 1: Skills Assessment

Indicate five transferable skills you have to offer to an employer. A list of transferable skills is found in our text book on pages 30-31. Feel free to search the Internet for additional lists. After listing the skill, briefly explain through example how you have put the skill to use.

In my line of work I have to be able to talk to everyone in the same line of work treat everyone appropriately. And if I need to get something across everyone needs to be able to understand me.
Research and Planning
In my line of work I need make sure I have all the answers and solutions to whatever may happen and plan on what jobs need to get accomplished.
Human Relations
I also have to be able to interact with my supervisor and my subordinates. I also have to be able to listening in our meetings so I can get any and all information to my staff. Them
Organization
In this line of industry, I need to be on top of my game and plan what jobs require all of my staff and what require maybe one or two my staff. And what maintenance needs to be accomplished in between all that.
Work Survival
This is a major one in my job because we run 24 hour shifts and I need make sure that people get off on the days they want and still maintain enough staff.
