Walter Mitty

The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty screenplay is written by Steve Conrad and directed by Ben Stiller. The story is about a man named Walter Mitty (Ben Stiller) who works as a negative assets manager at Life magazine. He has a bad habit of constantly day dreaming of crazy adventures while at work, home, and pretty much anywhere he's at the moment. He works with photojournalist Sean O'Connell (Sean Penn), who sends him is last photo negative #25 which is meant to be used as the cover of the final physical magazine copy and also a wallet as a gift for all his years of hard work. One day at work some executives from corporate are downsizing and making the transition from physical magazines to digital. When the transition manager hears word that the negative goes missing he tells Walter to find him the negative which leads Walter on a journey across different countries to find Sean and fix the problem. The character’s in this film are probably the biggest complaint that I have with this movie. They seem too hard to believe and boring, which does not make me care if they succeed or not in the end. The main character, Walter is a very passive person and does not like take chances, which makes it hard to believe when he goes on an adventure last minute to look for a man who he has never meet in person. The cinematographer Stuart Dryburgh did a fantastic job at the quality of shots and lighting which really enhanced the scenery around the characters, for example when Walter is long boarding down the long and windy road the scene is filled with bird eye view shots, medium shots, and low angles that really shows the beauty in nature and is able to grab your attention for the moment. Other than the beautiful visuals the film has a great soundtrack that blends very nicely with the entirety of the
