Many may ask, “Who was Walter Elias Disney?” He was an animation producer and an entrepreneur in Hollywood. As a child, Walt had always been interested in art and drawing, so that encouraged him to pursue his dream. Walt Disney did so many great things to change America and the whole world. He gave animations a completely new view, gave us a new way of entertainment, and made it so unique that we still enjoy his works today. In the times of 1901-1966, Walt Disney helped the whole country. The passion Walt had for animations made people look at it in a different way (“Disney’s Vision for America”). Disney was so committed to try something new with animations because “we keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths” (Disney). One of his biggest accomplishments was making the first full length animated film (“Walter Elias Disney”). With all of his films, Disney also discovered new ways of technology to improve animations and productions. Walt Disney also became really famous and well known through his two best animations, Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck (Smith). There is most likely no one in this country that has not heard of Disneyland, Disneyworld, or even Mickey Mouse. They are too popular to not know. Walt Disney had an idea of what the people wanted so he decided that he was going to make them come true because “all our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them” (Disney)(“Walter Elias Disney”). Walter Disney wanted to leave an impression on the world that all things are possible. He took the dreams of Americans and made them come true, and to this day, Disney has inspired many and even gave them something to smile about (“Walt Disney: Long Biography”). Disney had many ways of making his audience want more by coming up with films, animations,comic strips, documentaries, songs, and theme parks (“Disney’s Vision for America”).
