Video Surveillance Summary
On 07-16-2017 I made contact with Amy the manager of Big Lots, and informed her of the counterfeit money case.

Amy was able to check the transactions around time of Kmart’s transaction and find a transaction using a $100 bill. She was able to review video surveillance and confirm it was the same subject from Kmart.

In the video surveillance one subject pays for items at the service desk using a $100 bill and the other goes through one of the checkout lanes. The Subject in the checkout lane attempts to pay with a $100 bill and the cashier informs her that she would have to get change so she gets the bill back and pays with a $50 bill. They are unable to pull money back out of the safe to check and see if the bills are counterfeit.

When building many of the castles in the 1300-1400’s the main purpose was to keep the enemies out and of course for conquest. In the video I watched, the Forbidden Knowledge video, they called out some very key point of why and how these fortresses and castles where erected and defended. Not only where there kings of the lands, but then each of those lands were divided up to noble kin and lords. They were always trying to better there futures with more land, even if that included killing your own cousin to get his piece of land. One great example of an intuitive fortress, Caesar had made a donut shaped fortress at one point around a small town; he shut out and was starving the people in the town and then also keeping out the men that were…

I arrived at the Ute Mountain Casino and met with Casino Security and was briefed on the incident. I was notified that Williams, Robert DOB: 06/21/1959 had attempted to exchange counterfeit money with the Casino Cashier. I marked the three $20.00 bills with a marker designed to indicate if money is real or not. The markings which I made on the bills indicated the bills to be counterfeit.…

The Sarah Bartmaan video today had some very shocking mistreatment of African Americans. I don’t understand how Europeans could justify their actions of treating another human being like that. Also to know that people still went to see her pickled remains for almost a century after her death showed that it was more than one person that contributed to this. People thought that African Americans were a different species and weren’t even human. We can also see this in our society today. I grew up outside the Bronx, and my school was mainly comprised of African American and Hispanic people. My cousins that lived just outside the city in the suburbs, went schools were the population was 90% white. It is almost like our races still keep us separate…

I think that police officers should wear body camera’s when on duty so that if something goes wrong they could have it on film.body camera’s could be used as evidence against some police officers like for example if a police officer shows no respect or hits someone it could be filmed and that officer would lose his or her job. back in 2014 when the incident happened with the cop and the unarmed teen the video camera would have came in handy to see what really went down between them…

“Besides making judgments about space, a viewer projects a stream of hypotheses about such factors as time, causality, character personality and motive, the efficacy of action, exposition, enigmas, plausibility, ethics, metaphors, rhythm, point of view, and much more. In general, a viewer comes to understand scenes by making detailed models of events. What might be termed the “classical” camera stands in for those procedures that have been successful in the past. When a viewer’s confidence in his or her predictions is high (i.e. the viewer’s constructed, mental models are well developed and reasonably supported by evidence), the film achieves a high degree of “reality...” (Branigan, 2013)…

This Program really hit home with me as I to spent time as a juvenile in a similar institution, definitely not as therapeutic but none the less certain aspects such as staff that are willing to talk and work through personal problems with. These kids in this video have been through a lot in their lives and it’s not one bit surprising that they have gone down the paths that they have. I think that it’s awesome that these kids are able to receive the rehabilitative help they need versus just being tossed in a cell and left to rot until their sentence is up. Seeing this type of program at a national level would be great and far more beneficial to juveniles than the traditional lock up facility. I believe that as great as it would be to see this…
