Vail Resort Executive Summary
The fiscal year ending of Vail Resorts is July 31st, every year, but they didn't post official 10K report. Hence, I assumed 2014 as the latest year to do all analysis. That is, although I could find Vail Resorts’ actual revenues of 2015 online, I still make estimation to get their forecast revenue in 2015 and use this estimated value for this individual assignment.

To begin with, according to Vail Resorts’ 10K report of 2014, I know that the revenue growth rates of 2013 and 2014 are 9.41% and 11.94% respectively. Then, I use the average value of these two growth rates as their revenue growth rate of 2015, about 10.68%. Afterwards, I checked the professional estimates analysis through Yahoo Finance to get their estimated revenue growth rates

The Unit 2 Individual project states that I am to determine the year-to-year percentage annual growth in total net sales for the Micro Chip Computer Corporation. After looking at the chart I do not think that the Micro Computer Corporation is going to make the +10% annual revenue growth in 2009. I got this by taking each year and adding them together and then dividing them to get the year-to-year growth. After doing this I took all of the percentages and averaged them out. This is showing that there is a -3.1% drop. Also using the CAGR there is a -6.8% which is not helping the company show that it will make the revenue growth. With this it will be very hard for the company to actually make a +10% revenue growth in 2009. Below is showing the loss and gains that were made every year.…

Teletech has two business segments, Telecommunications Services and Products and Systems unit, for the last couple of months senior management at Teletech Corporation had been discussing returns. However, only until they received the letter from Victor Yossarian did they decide to spin into action and review the company’s returns, the hurdle rate that was being used company wise and not by business segments, the annual capital budget situation, the review of new possible policies, and finally they needed to do a concrete assessment of the Products and Systems segment to know if it was profitable on its own. This situation becomes even more critical when taking in consideration that the company plans to invest about $2 Billion in the next year on capital projects.…

For sales from 2001 to 2002, we are projecting a 13% increase because we want to base the same revenue growth as the previous fiscal year. It will take some time for the company to do better like before in the earlier years in sales growth. This increase however, does show improvement for the company as revenue growth hit a downward turn to 8% in the late 1990’s.…

Freedie Mack will need to use moving average date technique. This technique that averages a number of recent values, updated as new values become available (Stevenson, 2012 p. 84). Freedie must use the following equation. Ft=Man= n E i-t At-i/n= At-n…+At-z+At-1/n. By taking amounts from each quarter in the corresponding service areas and dividing the values, Freedie will get the percent’s of growth. The example would be from year one, quarter one, service A and year two using service A quarter one (60/72=1.2% growth projection and then taking the 1.2% and multiplying this by 72). This would give the organization an 86 in service column A for year three, quarter one and so on for each quarter as we will see in the table below. Freedie would use this date to determine the growth or fall regarding the demand. He can use this to predict several years in the future using this technique. Using this technique is easy and easy to understand (Stevenson 2012, p.85).…
