a. Doctor – According to the reference I found about the job description of a doctor, They mostly need a light weighted a little fast laptop with some decent amount of hard drive space to store records of patients.

b. Author – An author usually needs a computer with some reasonable hard drive capacity and a standard memory (RAM), and I highly recommend a solid state drive, since he carries it always with him, and they can write anywhere they want. C. Movie Maker – A movie maker could be a producer, director or pretty much most of them except the editors in that field could use a general laptop to carry with them. But an editor would need a work station, due large amount of hard drive space and memory need.

This project used an Atmega644 microcontroller clocked at 20MHz in each of the two functional modules for processing. Memory storage is provided by a standard Secure Digital (SD) card. Xbee modules provide bidirectional wireless communication and we use the TLV5616 DAC chip for generating analog audio. The LM358 dual op amp provides active filtering to the output of the DAC. Music files can be added to the SD card using any computer with a multimedia card reader. Once the base station detects an SD card inserted into the holder, it awaits data requests from the portable module. The portable module requests data when required and feeds these values into the DAC. The DAC output is low-pass filtered by the op amp, which also buffers the DAC output before it reaches the audio output…

Over the last week the market has saw December corn futures fall $.08 on the heels of the Monday USDA report. The September report confirmed what most analysts have predicted for the last several weeks; there will almost certainly be a massive corn crop this season. The general consensus this week is that corn will continue to decrease throughout the harvest season. Kevin McNew of Grain Hedge believes if there is a late winter rally coming it will be “a game of small moves,”. I decided that it would be beneficial to calculate how much per bushel I need to make my break-even point. As a result of using the Missouri Extension numbers for average yield and average cost per acre I found that the minimum break-even price per bushel comes in at about…

    11. Sample Rate: Typically expressed in samples per second, or hertz (Hz), the rate at which samples of an analog signal are taken in order to be converted into digital form. A PCs sound card typically will sample a received analog signal, such as through a microphone, and digitize it for use by the computer. A higher sampling rate provides a better quality reproduction than a lower sampling rate.…

Let’s begin with the smaller branch supporting the five user workstations and the very slow network connectivity. You may not need a DNS server at all. If there is a lot of file & data sharing, then maybe the branch could benefit from a server, but configured in a secondary zone, such as an ADI. If there is not enough file/data sharing to need the presence of the server, an ADI server could potentially slow down an already sluggish system even more.…

When addressing system performance, a key element that is often overlooked is Disk Fragmentation. Even on a brand new system with plenty of RAM and processing speed, the performance of the hard disk may be a bottleneck causing issues. It takes time to load large data files into memory - issues become particularly noticeable when dealing with movies, video clips, database files or image files which may easily be several gigabytes in size. On a freshly formatted disk, these files load fairly quickly. Over time, however you may start to notice performance issues - caused by disk fragmentation.…

Some critical I/O devices that you would need with a personal computer consist of monitor, keyboard, speakers, and mouse. You need the monitor to be able to see what you are doing. If you didn’t have a monitor it would be the same as working in the dark, or even trying to do what you need to do blind. You would need the keyboard to be able to input instructions/demands. Without a keyboard you may not be able to input instructions for the computer to do. The keyboard is a necessity for day to day use. Speakers are critical in the sense that you need to hear. Sometimes if you can’t listen to what is going on around you then you may not be able to do some of the important things that need to be done. The reason a mouse is critical is because, if you don’t have a notebook, that comes with a built in touch pad as the mouse then you need the mouse to be able to navigate from page to page, or click on items that are important. Without a mouse it would be the same as writing without a pencil or pen.…
