Q. Uniform should be mandatory in colleges. Agree or disagree.
Ans. We cannot deny the importance of wearing uniform in college because each college has its own uniform which represent for the college’s image and prestige. The main aim or importance of uniform in the college is to maintain uniformity among the students. There will be no gap between rural and rich students when they wear uniform. Lots of students who came from countryside feel a sense of inferiority complex when they look at rich one wearing luxurious and fashionable garments. They do not have courage to approach and talk with the fancy one comfortably, resulting in an uncomfortable and uncoordinated studying environment. When all of the students are required to wear the same cloth to go to college, there shall be no intangible distance between them. So, I purpose that all college should make uniform mandatory for each and every student.
Uniform will save the parents money and reduce violence/gang affiliation. Student in a uniform is more likely to take school/college seriously. Putting on a uniform signal he or she is going to college just as their parents going for their work. Most college has their uniform to create a reputation for high class education as well as leasing the chances of disorder. They have many social benefits for the students and in some case, can make an institution much safer. With a compulsory uniform, a college will have more order and the student will seem more civilized as a college can create an atmosphere that encourages maturity and responsibility.
By wearing college uniform, students can be proud of their college. Every morning when they stand in front of a mirror and look at their uniform, they can feel a sense of craving for going to college. Furthermore, when going outside with their uniform put on, passes by people can recognize what institution they are studying by looking on uniform. It also helps

One of the chief benefits of school uniforms, say proponents, is that they make schools safer. Uniforms are said to reduce gang influence, minimize violence by reducing some sources of conflict, and help to identify trespassers. Having a uniform stops gang members from displaying their colours and garb. The schools also believe it helps stop violence and helps instill a sense of pride in the students. It also helps to break down the barriers between different socioeconomic groups. I feel we should keep to the uniform. It sets an example of the school. t is representation the community. Why should students wear school uniforms? There are many reasons that a student should wear a school uniform. One reason is that "Teachers and students believe uniformed students are better behaved and more academically successful than students who do not wear uniforms."(1) Distractions In The Classroom With fewer distractions in the classroom the students will pay more attention to the academic aspect of school. Students will not be looking to see who is wearing Tommy Hilfiger or Polo. They will not see who is wearing the same outfit for many days in a row. With the older students , the females will not be able to wear tight pants , short skirts , or revealing blouses. These types of clothing could distract the other students in the class. If the students focus is on the girl with a short skirt , then there is no way they can be paying attention to the teacher. School uniforms will also keep students from trying to persuade teachers sexually , and will hopefully help to eliminate the sexual distraction from the classroom. "Research now shows that school uniforms do significantly affect students perceptions of school climate," says Richard Murray , a principal in South Carolina. (5) Reducing Socioeconomic Status School uniforms will also help to reduce socioeconomic status between students. There will be less grouping of students due to how rich or how poor their parents are. A school uniform will enable each student to be judged based upon…

The main reason from school is education not clothes. When all students wear the same clothes this will help to be less concerned about how they look. Thus, they can concentrate on their schoolwork. A lot of people waste a lot of time to choose what they wear and this make them focus on looking not education. "Uniforms show that you are part of an organisation. Wearing it says we are all in this together" (Jason Wing 2006). Students belong to education organisation so their uniform must be the same to create an identity for the school in the community. On other hand some people claim that school uniforms prevent students to express about themselves, in contrast students should express about the organisation of education so their uniform should refer to that. Another argument that is in favour of uniforms is that it restores order and discipline in schools. The adoption of school uniform policies can promote school safety, improve discipline. A school uniform makes it easier for the school authorities to recognize students belonging to their school. Students are identified by their uniforms and would most give a second thought if they want to break a school rule, for example, smoking while being seen in uniforms. They would lower the dignity of their uniform. Hence, in this sense students wearing their uniform, identify with their school and the wearing of it fosters discipline. Moreover, a fixed dress code helps the students perform academically better. Rather than deciding their wardrobe, students would concentrate more in their studies. . School uniforms may also provide a way out for poor children who…

The wearing of uniform emphasises equality; the fact that everyone wearing that uniform is of the same status, and no-one is “better” in any way than anyone else. I am sure you will agree that this is a good moral to promote in young people. A smart uniform also helps to create pride for the school for its wearers. If children are all wearing the same uniform, they all belong to the same group, which helps to foster a community spirit and ultimately creates a better atmosphere among the children.…
