Cost of Attendance for Full-Time Students

Delta State University’s College of Business is populated with over 200 students. Their mission is to prepare students for the marketplace by providing challenging educational opportunities (College of Business, 2012). The College of Business offers degree programs that include Bachelor of Science in Education, Bachelor of Business Administration, and Bachelor of Commercial Aviation with individual majors within each degree program. Delta State’s College of Business is nationally accredited and is guaranteed to provide students with a great educational experience and training to prepare them for their specified career field. The estimate for total cost of attendance for the Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 semesters is $14,192. This estimated cost includes full-time tuition, housing fees, lab fees, and books.

Full-time tuition at Delta State University is $2,862. Full-time tuition is a onetime cost charged at the beginning of each semester for students enrolled in 12 or more hours. When a student exceeds 19 semester hours, an additional fee is charged. Out of state fees are assessed in the tuition of students who are not current residents in the state of Mississippi. This extra cost totals in the amount of $4,548.

The cost of books and supplies can range from $300 to $2000. This all depends on the classes you select and the books selected by each professor per course. Textbooks can be rented or purchased in the university bookstore. Textbooks can also be purchased and viewed online with the latest technology advancements. Most students in the College of Business will need personal computer with all Microsoft Office Products. Computer Information Systems students will also need additional programming software. These costs may vary depending on the manufacturers. These suggested software
