What it is?
A tropical rainforest is an ecosystem type that occurs roughly within the latitudes 28 degrees north or south of the equator. This ecosystem experiences high average temperatures and a significant amount of rainfall.
A biotic conditions of a tropical rainforest?
The a biotic factors of this rainforest bio me are-the amount of water and sunlight, climate, weather and precipitation. These things affect the trees and animals that live there. These are very important because without the right amount of water and sunlight the trees in the rainforest would not be able to grow and would die. These factors also affect the types of plants and animals that can live in this area. A good example is that a lot of small bushes and shrubs would not be able to live here because all the really tall trees would block most of the sunlight causing a lack in sunlight to the bushes and shrubs below them. This will cause the bushes and shrubs to die.

Where can it be found in Belize?
Toledo, the southernmost district of Belize, has 1669 square miles of rainforest, mountains, rivers, and Maya Villages. So basically you could find tropical rainforests in Toledo. Benefits derived from a tropical rainforest?
Rainforests are important to the global ecosystem.

Rainforests help stabilize the world's climate by absorbing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Excess carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is believed to contribute to climate change through global warming. Therefore rainforests have an important in addressing global warming. Rainforests also affect local weather conditions by creating rainfall and moderating temperatures.

It’s a diversity of habitats ranging from mountain pine forest in the west, to mixed pine and oak forests, pine savannah in the north and coastal mangrove forests.
