Maranda Millet: An Example to All
We could all learn a lesson by taking a look at the life of Maranda Millet. Hard work//, persistence//, and dreams// are what made Maranda in to the outstanding woman that she turned out to be. Maranda is a prime example showing that no matter where you come from or what obstacles life throws in your way, <<<<<with a little dedication // and a lot of hard work<<<<<<, you can achieve anything that you set your mind to. Despite not finishing high school and having the challenge of becoming a mother at such a young age, Maranda accomplished things in her life that most people would deem impossible. Once her daughter was born, Maranda decided to become the first person in #####three generations##### of her family to receiver her GED, a task she accomplished in merely <<<<<three short days.<<<<< Not only did she pursue a higher education, but she did so while being duel enrolled at both Our Lady of the Lake and River Parish Community College. >>>>>As if all of this wasn’t enough>>>>>, Maranda trudged through all that she had on her plate while also working as a pharmacist technician. After completing the necessary courses for pre-nursing, Maranda continued to follow her dreams of working in pediatric oncology. In just #####three years##### she became the head nurse at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Gonzales, Louisiana. All of her life success never went to her head though. No matter what, Maranda always made sure to put others first and never failed to bring a smile to the smile of whoever she came in contact with. So if you ever find yourself thinking that life is too hard and that you’re heading nowhere//, just remember Maranda Millet. Do not just sit around and allow life to pass you by while your dreams fly out the window. Go out and chase your dreams// and know in your heart that anything is possible if you want it bad enough and are
