Tom's Trial In To Kill A Mockingbird

When the novel got to the last summer in the book, Tom ends up convicted of rape even with Atticus proving that he couldn’t have had the possibility of committing the crime of which Tom was accused of. I had the brief moment where I had to stop reading the book for a few days because some of the reading had me upset, but I continued reading.
Meanwhile in presenting Tom's case, Atticus accidentally insulted and offended Bob Ewell, who was the dad of the accuser. Although Tom's conviction, Ewell seeks to revenge at Atticus and even the judge for hurting his already ruined name. I thought that all three of the children are moved by the jury's decision on convicting Tom. Atticus kept trying to explain but the jury's decision was not persuadable.
